A working machine should not depend on access to credit.
Clean clothing underpins school attendance, job interviews, health and dignity. It is not discretionary. Concession pricing exists so that a household on a concession income buys a certified, warrantied appliance outright — not a rent-to-own contract that costs multiples of retail.

Comparison figures are refreshed by a quarterly market price check and are indicative of the realistic alternatives available locally. They are used to calculate the household cost avoided indicator we report against.

Concession and health care card holders
Bring your card when you collect, or show it at delivery. We sight the card type and the date — we never record your card number.
Pensioners
Age, disability support and carer pensions all qualify for Tier 1 pricing.
Households referred by a case manager
If you are working with a community service, housing provider or crisis service, they can refer you directly using the form on this page.
Households in acute crisis
Crisis relief stock is released free or at nominal cost through referral partners — after a fire, a flood, family violence, or a move into transitional housing with nothing in it.
Same machine, same standard
A concession unit is not a lesser unit. It comes off the same bench, passes the same AS/NZS 3760 test, carries the same supervisor sign-off and the same six-month warranty as a retail unit. A second-hand appliance sold to a low-income family must be as safe as a new one — that is not a slogan, it is the reason the workshop exists in this shape.
Refer a household
For case managers, housing officers, crisis services and community workers. Eligibility is verified by your organisation, not by us — we do not ask households to prove their circumstances to a shopfront.
If a lump sum is not possible
Flexible low-cost rental, with an ownership option.
Small regular payments, no credit check, no compounding interest. The total payable to own the machine outright is disclosed before anything is signed, and it does not change.
What it is
A weekly payment on a machine that is already tested, tagged and warrantied. You can pay it out at any point and the total to own is fixed from the start.
What it is not
It is not rent-to-own. There is no interest, no default cascade, no fee for paying it out early, and no arrangement where you pay for years and own nothing.
Before we offer it
Rental and any deferred-payment terms are under legal review, including whether they engage credit regulation. We will not offer terms we have not had checked.
Groups the training pathway holds places open for
The workshop is also a training floor. If you support people facing structural barriers to employment, the same referral relationship works in the other direction — intake is by referral from employment service providers and community organisations.

Crisis services and case managers tell us the same thing: they have no good answer when a household needs a washing machine. Referring to us costs nothing, exposes no one to a rent-to-own product, and gets a certified machine into a home with a warranty behind it.
